England and Arkansas merge as Royal Blood and Welles play LA’s Observatory

On Sunday, the UK rock duo Royal Blood played in front of a sold out crowd at the Observatory in Santa Anna. The duo started off the night by playing “Where Are You Now?,” which is off their new record “How Did We Get So Dark”.

The band was joined by Welles, a band from Arkansas. The band played songs from there new EP “Codeine”. The sold out crowd moshed and head banged to the heavy sounds of Royal Blood. With the release of their second record the band is continuing to rise up in the music world.

Arroyo Seco Weekend brings Mumford and Sons, Weezer, Alabama Shakes and more together in Los Angeles

Arroyo Seco Weekend took place on June 24-25. This first year festival hosted by goldenvoice took place at the rose bowl. The festival had performers like Mumford and sons, weezer, tom petty, Fitz and the tantrums, Magic Giant, The Mowglis, and many more. Day one started with a great set by the broken social Scene.
