Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Festival returns in May with The Stokes, Black Keys and Smashing Pumpkins headlining

When festival season hype starts to commence every year, music fans try their hand at guessing lineups and beginning to plan their adventures to chase the best festivals. It’s become a rarity for a festival to be able to hit the mark with an impressive lineup multiple years in a row, but Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta, GA consistently delivers year after year. This year’s lineup is no exception.

Headliners for the 2020 installment of the festival include The Black Keys, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The Strokes. If that wasn’t enough to sell you on attending, the lineup totes more than 65 acts over four stages in Atlanta’s downtown Central Park May 1-3. Among those acts this year are the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Stereolab, Portugal. The Man, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Brittany Howard, and Liam Gallagher.

With so many quality acts, there is bound to be some degree of scheduling conflicts, leaving attendees tasked with choosing between two bands they really want to see – it’s a struggle festival-goers have been experiencing since the dawn of music festivals. To help combat this and give people the chance to see their favorite bands twice, Shaky Knees hosts several late night shows each night of the festival in local venues around town. The late night schedule hasn’t come out yet, but be on the lookout for it in the next month!

3-day, 1-day, and VIP tickets are now on sale.
