Slightly Stoopid, Tribal Seeds and Matisyahu headline the “How I Spent My Summer Vacation Tour”

The How I Spent My Summer Vacation Tour was truly epic. With a line up like Hirie, Matisyahu, Tribal Seeds, and Slightly Stoopid a very fun evening was to be expected. Despite the Texas heat, all 4 bands put on exceptional performances, and a hot crowd reacted by matching the energy. The Whitewater Amphitheater was a beautiful venue that had a river running directly behind the stage cooling a lot of us off and creating a very scenic performance. The entire evening felt exactly like a perfect summer day, and a memorable night.

The beautiful band that is Hirie, a pop reggae band based out of San Diego, were the openers of the show. Despite having an early set, the crowd was packed and grooving to the music. Everyone loves Hirie! Tribal Seeds were next to play, and dominated the stage like they always do. Their setlist displayed their musical diversity, and all the different ways they are able to play. A must see live band, and one of my personal favorites. Next was Matisyahu, the man, the legend! Looking very stylish on stage, sounding amazing, and dancing around it was impossible not to smile and dance with him.

Last but certainly not least was Slightly Stoopid, the closers of the night and a highly anticipated performance by the crowd. I have to mention that anytime I talk about Slightly Stoopid, I always find myself saying they are a good time live and a lot of fun, this holds true. I took a moment to just look around, and I’m so glad I did because it was a moment worth remembering. Seeing everyone having such a good time, dancing, being care free while in the presence of such an exciting and beautiful performance was something I consider myself lucky to be able to see as a photographer.

The show was 10/10. Everyone needs to make it out to this tour if the chance is there, you will not regret it!
