Beirut kick off their highly-anticipated worldwide tour with a sold-out show at Brooklyn Steel (with Helado Negro)

For their first public performance in two years, Beirut played a lively and melodic show to an appreciative sold-out crowd at Brooklyn Steel last night.

They’ve playing a second show at Brooklyn Steel tonight (Monday the 11th), with a few tickets still available.

This show was the start of an extensive tour in support of their new album, Gallipoli. After New York, they have dates across the United States and Canada, and then a series of European concert dates. Helado Negro opened.
