Brockhampton, Chet Porter and Metsa lead the way at Seattle’s Capitol Hill Block Party

If you were in Seattle last weekend and found yourself anywhere else besides Capitol Hill Block Party, then you seriously made some wrong decisions. Three days, five stages, and a bunch of afterparties each night – there’s nowhere else you should have been. While dozens of artists performed, a few stood out among the rest.

Brockhampton

Boyband Brockhampton had the best performance, hands-down. Over 20+ people were lifted out of the crowd before the band even came out. Fans decked out in merch, camped out at the stage all day. The side barricade broke during the first song, and security scrambled quickly to get it back up. Every inch of the street was packed in with people. The energy was electric and the boys exceeded every expectation. Never underestimate Brockhampton fans. Boy does that crowd know how to have a great time.

Chet Porter

Chet knows how to draw a crowd in. Although the designated space for his stage was full, more people came by, spilling in to other areas. His set was fun, and you could feel the joy emanating from his smile. Experiencing Chet Porter perform is a must.

Metsä

Washington grown Metsä had Neumos at capacity during his performance at CHBP. The indoor venue literally couldn’t hold any more people as he showcased a ton of new tunes. You could see him get lost in the music mid-performance, which was such a beautiful thing to witness. This guy is going places and we can’t wait to see where he ends up next.

Capitol Hill Block Party was such a community centered, fun filled weekend. We’re already looking forward to going next year! If you’re interested in keeping up-to-date with CHBP you can follow them on Instagram here.
