JoJo shows off her growth from pop one-hit-wonder to R&B powerhouse at Neumos in Seattle

Remember pretending to be upset at a boy for breaking your heart while lip syncing to “Leave (Get Out)” by JoJo? Well the young pop start has grown in to an incredible R&B singer who sold out Neumos in Seattle.

Opening for JoJo was Malia Civetz.  She grabbed the crowd the moment she took the stage. Audience members were yelling cheers and singing to the chorus of every song. During her last song, “Little Victories”, Malia started crying but managed to keep her composure and nail every note.

JoJo ran up on stage, bursting full of energy. A few fans had been lined up since 9 AM and brought her flowers and doughnuts. The show was 21+ and packed in full of people. JoJo’s set list was 22 songs long. She remixed and mashed up a bunch of fan faves, and since she’s been in the public eye since 13 years old, she has a lot of ground to cover. Her tour, Leaks, Covers, and Mixtapes, runs until June 26th.

All but one of her shows is sold out so you’ll have to try and get your hands on some reseller tickets. Keep up with all her tour dates here. You can listen to her latest album, Mad Love, here.
