ODESZA packs Seattle’s WaMu Theatre for three bright, electric hometown shows

ODESZA does not mess around when it comes time to tour. Especially when they decide to kick off the US leg of their 2018 tour, A Moment Apart, where the duo originally formed. ODESZA performed three nights in a row at the WaMu Theatre in Seattle.

Each night had a different line up of openers. We caught night three where Pluko kicked off the show. He did a good job at loosening up the crowd. The duo Phantoms came on next. The crowd immediately started getting wild after they exclaimed, “We drink too much and like to party! Let’s dance!”

After two hours of openers, ODESZA’s set started. The lights dimmed and massive video of space played as spoken audio set the stage for the night. ODESZA was greeted with boisterous screams as they walked on stage. They had a full drum line and trumpets as well. The lights were killer and the visuals on the gigantic LED screen were insane. Everything tied in well together and made for an incredible production. Confetti filled the air and there may or may not have been tons of fire. There were two very special guests, Naomi Wild and WYNNE, who performed their features with ODESZA. It was a truly unforgettable night in Seattle.

You can find tour dates for A Moment Apart and all of ODESZA’s festival performance dates here. ODESZA just released the official music video for “Higher Ground” ft. Naomi Wild. Watch it here.
