Kate Nash channels the 1980’s at a fun, bubbly show at Seattle’s Showbox Market

Indie pop/rock artist Kate Nash stopped by the Showbox Market this week in Seattle. She was joined by Miya Folick.

Miya opened the show with incredibly raw vocals backed by an all boy band. She became more confident as her set progressed. One of her songs required a powerful screamed vocal, which she suggested everybody try sometime. Miya interacted with the crowd well and had a line of new fans waiting to meet her after her set.

Kate Nash popped on stage next, in a bright pink 80’s inspired look with white fishnets. Having fun on stage is Kate’s priority. You could see her soaking up every moment with joy. The crowd on the floor matched her energy, dancing and singing along to each song. Take a listen to her latest record and tour namesake, Yesterday Was Forever, here. The tour is running through May 2nd. You can catch all the dates and purchase tickets here.
