ZZ Ward commands the stage at Seattle’s Showbox Market (with Billy Raffoul and Black Pistol Fire)

Saturday in Seattle was especially exciting this weekend as ZZ Ward stopped by the Showbox Market and was supported by Billy Raffoul and Black Pistol Fire.

Billy Raffoul started the night off. He was very calm and prominent on stage. Black Pistol Fire took the stage next. Lead singer Kevin McKeown ruled the stage. His presence resonated with the crowd and they ate up every second of his performance. Mixing killer vocals with sick dance moves is his specialty.

It was incredible to be able to watch him perform. At one point, he got into the crowd while grinding out notes on his guitar and danced with the audience. Eric Owen, the drummer, is brilliant on his own accord. He is a powerhouse on the drums and doesn’t let up for a moment. You can catch up with Black Pistol Fire at the Bunbury Music Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Up last was the headliner, ZZ Ward. Although not as frantically energetic as her predecessor, ZZ Ward commanded the stage. There wasn’t a silent person in the crowd. She effortlessly transitioned from guitar, to harmonica, and back – enjoying every moment. Her tour ends March 11th at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. You can hear her latest single, Domino, here.

One comment on ZZ Ward commands the stage at Seattle’s Showbox Market (with Billy Raffoul and Black Pistol Fire)

  1. contact says:

For Seattle, Tall Chief in Fall City would be a better park to go see a ball game I-90 comes out just about at the ballfields. Lake Pleasant, while nice, is way north and traffic is not easy going through Seattle.
