Young indie-rock trio Wallows play their whole catalogue (and a few covers at Chop Suey) in Seattle

The indie-rock trio Wallows performed at Chop Suey in Seattle, WA for stop number four of their first tour. They only have four songs out, but the crowd was packed with people. You could visibly see Braeden grow more confident as the set list progressed.

Eventually he ventured out from behind the mic stand and even winked at the crowd. It was endearing to watch the personality come out. Dylan covered “This Charming Man” by The Smiths. You could visibly see joy emanating from him as he performed. It was enchanting, plus that boy can move!

The crowd screamed for an encore which was eventually met with the band coming back out. Dylan commented, “We only have four songs and you’ve heard them all. We don’t know what to play for an encore.” Eventually they settled on having Braeden sing an unreleased song, while the other members sat off to the side and swung along with their arms over each other. They followed that up with a cover of “Blister in The Sun” where they elongated the break for such a long time that Braeden kept laughing every time he tried to start the final verse.

Wallows are touring through mid-March and tickets are still available! You can see if they are playing near you, here. You can listen to their music here.
