Kid Cudi tours in support of ‘Passion Pain & Demon Slayin,’ fresh off Kanye West’s guest appearance in Chicago, with two SF shows

As Kid Cudi approaches the final dates of his nationwide tour in support of his sixth studio album ‘Passion Pain & Demon Slayin,’ the anticipation from his bay area fans couldn’t be more clear. After quickly selling out his scheduled date on Saturday 11/18, a second performance has been added the following Sunday 11/19 due to popular demand.

The album which includes features from Travis Scott, Willow Smith, André 3000 and Pharrell Williams was released late last year and debuted at number 11 on the US Billboard 200. You can hear one of the lead singles, Surfin’ featuring Pharrell Williams below:

Kid Cudi who’s real name is Scott Mescudi, came to prominence in 2008 with his breakout single, “Day ‘n’ Nite,” a two-time Grammy nominated hit from his first studio album titled, ‘Man on the Moon: The End of Day,’ which launched Mescudi into mainstream success. He has since evolved from being solely a rapper to becoming a singer/songwriter, a highly sought out producer, guitarist and music video director. Mescudi has collaborated with a wide array of artists from JAY Z and Snoop Dogg to MGMT and Father John Misty.

The Cleveland native was initially discovered by Kanye West and signed to his GOOD Music label. He has since garnered a large cult following over the years and in 2016, West described him as “the most influential artist of the past 10 years.” With his first upcoming show at the Warfield already sold out, eager bay area fans would do well to snag a ticket for his Sunday performance which more than likely will sell out as well.

Upcoming Tour Dates:
11/14 – Sacramento, CA @ Sacramento Memorial Auditorium
11/17 – Avila Beach, CA @ Avila Beach Resort
11/18 – San Francisco, CA @ Warfield Theater
11/19 – San Francisco, CA @ Warfield Theater
