London alt-pop duo Oh Wonder kick off their U.S. Ultralife Tour in Minneapolis alongside Jaymes Young

Oh Wonder, a London based alt-pop duo, kicked off the United States portion of the Ultralife Tour in Minneapolis earlier this week, playing an electric and thoughtfully composed set to a welcoming crowd. Composed of Josephine Vader Gucht (keys/vocals) and Anthony West (guitar/keys/vocals), the duo is currently trekking across the world on a three month tour in support of their sophomore album “Ultralife,” which was released earlier this summer.

Right as the lights dimmed and the duo walked on stage, the energy of the room changed to excitement and , a dynamic that remained throughout their set. Vader Gucht and West commanded the stage, exchanging a unique on stage chemistry that fed beautifully into their performance and obvious passion for their craft. One of the highlights from their set was how perfectly intertwined the lighting was with the emotive performance of their music, both lyrically and musically, creating a unique ambiance.
