Musical siblings The Band Perry perform at the Riverdome at the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City, LA

The Band Perry brought an incredible amount of energy to the stage in the Riverdome at the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City Friday night. TBP consists of three siblings – Kimberly, Neil, and Reid Perry, which they definitely make up for a talented family.

The group played their most popular songs such as “If I Die Young”, “Done”, “Stay in the Dark”, “Comeback Kid”, and more. They also played a series of covers such as “Crazy” by Ceelo Green, “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston, “Sexy Back” by Justin Timberlake, “Sweet Dreams” by Eurythmics, and “Fat Bottom Girls” by Queen which all showcased their diversity in musical talent and that they can perform any type of genre and kill it.

During their set, Kimberly took the time to acknowledge the devastation happening in Houston and the surrounding areas due to Hurricane Harvey and sent her thoughts and prayers out to the victims.

She then went on to play their song “Comeback Kid” which is about going through a hard, challenging time and making it even stronger and wiser than before. The performance of this song was followed by a speech and advice by Kimberly on how to get through difficult times and challenge in life. “Brightest days are ahead of us” she said regarding that no matter what you’re going through, things will look up. They went on to play “If I Die Young” acoustically, which is the very first song that I heard by them that made me become a fan and they performed it just as beautiful as it sounds on the record.

They closed the night out with their more upbeat song “Done” as the encore, which is another one of my personal favorites, and killed it. I’d definitely recommend anyone seeing The Band Perry live. So much talent in three siblings!
