You should probably go see Kasabian in September during their string of U.S. shows

Kasabian, the beloved U.K. band that has headlined Glastonbury and Leeds and has twice won the Q Award for “Best Act in the World Today,” are playing a series of North American dates in September. The band released their sixth studio album For Crying Out Loud in the UK on May 5th, landing them their 5th UK #1 album, and they’ll be supporting the new music at relatively small venues in eight cities.

Like Biffy Clyro or Placebo, for example, Kasabian’s North American success has been limited compared to their massive stardom in England. They’re one of the UK’s most successful and beloved bands and seeing them in a 2,000 person seat venue is sure to be a treat.

“That’s the optimum place to see any band, 2,000 seaters,” guitarist Sergio Pizzorno explained to The Independent about playing in more intimate rooms. “That’s the ultimate live music experience.”

At most of the shows, the band will be joined by Slaves, a British duo that also puts on a heck of a show.

Tour Dates:
Sept 14 New York, NY @ Terminal 5*
Sept 15 Philadelphia, PA @ The Trocadero Theatre
Sept 16 Boston, MA @ Royale Nightclub
Sept 18 Toronto, ON @ Rebel Complex*
Sept 19 Chicago, IL @ House of Blues *
Sept 23 Los Angeles, CA @ The Wiltern*
Sept 24 San Francisco, CA @ Regency Ballroom*
Sept 27 Mexico City, MX @ Pabellon Cuervo Palacio Del Los Deportes*
* Support from Slaves
