Gorillaz return to the stage after long hiatus to perform “Humanz” and classic hits

After six long years, Gorillaz are again releasing albums. Their first being, Humanz. Humanz was released via Parlophone and Warner Bros. Records. Late March of 2017, they announced the album, on their Instagram page, but did not release it out to the public until April 28, 2017 following a early leak. The aim for Humanz was to create an album not overtly political, but rather something with an emotional response to politics.

Concert goers flocked the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion despite there being heavy rain and flood warnings. The concert comprised of many from their new album like “Saturnz Barz” and also a classic that many love, “Clint Eastwood”. The new album sounds a bit different from what they have put out in the past but still has the same electronic/hip-hop/R&B feel.
